BAUHALPS

Project objectives
The BAUHALPS project, funded under Interreg Alpine Space, aims to promote the transition to a circular and resource-efficient economy to contribute to a carbon-neutral and environmentally friendly Alpine region.
It proposes testing new models to make the construction sector more sustainable and greener, while promoting building renovations that are environmentally friendly, inclusive, and attractive. The transformation towards a green economy is designed as a genuine cultural process, bringing together stakeholders from the construction industry, the creative world, and local communities to co-create innovative solutions.
Ultimately, the project aims to develop new European standards for the mandatory assessment of buildings, integrating sustainability and climate neutrality issues.
The project, in line with the priorities of the Alpine Space, capitalizes on past experiences in the building sector, optimizes existing open source tools, linking together technical, aesthetic, and cultural aspects of the construction process, while paying particular attention to the needs of residents, the sense of belonging, and the specific challenges of Alpine territories.
Tenerrdis’s role
In this project, Tenerrdis is responsible for testing, in collaboration with the CIRIDD, the tools developed as part of BAUHALPS on the French pilot site in Saint-Romain-le-Puy.
The cluster is also involved in drafting a plan to transform the construction sector in line with the principles of the New European Bauhaus. Finally, Tenerrdis is organizing local events to present the pilot site to its ecosystem and promote the project’s results.
