ReSilex

The general objective of RESiLEX project is to demonstrate 8 industry-driven technological and business innovative solutions during the 4 years of the project covering the full European Silicon value chain in order to contribute to improving the resilience and sustainability of this critical raw material. The project will assess the economic, social and environmental impact of these solutions and identify, roadmap and provide open source policy-making recommendations to accelerate the replication of the ones with the highest potential.

The project covers the following subjects:

• Mining and raw materials extraction
• Production of solar-grade polysilicon
• Solar cell & module manufacturing
• Recycling of PV solar panels
• Use of the recycled silicon in the anodes of Li-ion batteries

Our cluster leads the Business case & Exploitation strategy task. Within this framework, Tenerrdis is developing business plans for the innovative technologies, in order to identify opportunities of exploitation for the consortium after the end of the project. Tenerrdis is also involved in the communication and dissemination of the project activities.
