Project objectives

SOLVE aims to develop the solid state batteries of the future: safer, more efficient, faster to charge and longer lasting.
Solid state batteries (SSBs) offer a promising opportunity for the EU to strengthen its position in the global battery market. SOLVE will tackle the main barriers to growth by demonstrating innovations along the value chain, optimising and scaling up materials, cell components, SSB cells and processing techniques to industrial conditions (TRL ≥ 6).

Tenerrdis’s role

Tenerrdis’ role is to manage communication to publicise the project, dissemination to ensure that it is understood and that the results of the project can be used.
The cluster is also responsible for exploitation, i.e. putting in place measures to ensure that the results are used effectively by the members of the consortium, whether for the development of marketable products and services or for the non-commercial use of the results.
