ScopeHydrogen—which presents both high growth potential and a solution to the problem of storing large amounts of energy—will play an important role in tomorrow’s carbon-free energy mix.
Tenerrdis works to bring together the most innovative businesses in France’s emerging hydrogen energy industry. Cluster members cover the entire hydrogen value chain, encompassing production, storage, and distribution (with companies like Air Liquide, McPhy Energy, and GDF Suez,), fuel cell component and materials manufacturing (Eras Labo and Solvay), fuel cell integration (Axane, Paxitech, and SymbioFCell), and recycling (Recupyl). Tenerrdis is also addressing hydrogen energy and fuel cell safety in partnership with INERIS.
Technology ResearchTo provide members with the best possible support for their innovation projects, Tenerrdis works closely with top research centers including the French Atomic and Alternative Energy Commission (CEA), Institut Néel of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), LMOPS, and LEPMI.
Key FiguresSince 2005 Tenerrdis has certified 135 R&D projects and demonstrators in the field of hydrogen and fuel cells, 48 of which have received government funding for a total of €76 million. 114 organizations, 50% of which are companies (half of those being innovative small- to mid-sized businesses), are involved in the program.
